Tube products of India is one of the units of tube investments of India ltd with its head office in chennai, India. Tube investments of India is a flagship company of murugappa group.
Tube products of India is the largest cold drawn precision welded tube company in India. We basically cater to precision tube requirements for the automotive, boiler, air heater and general engineering industry. But we are specialists in automotive tubing, with nearly 85% of our production oriented towards catering to this segment. We currently have 4 manufacturing facilities in India, of which one is a100% export oriented unit catering to international market requirements.
We are a near monopoly in shock absorber tubing in India with every OEM buying from tpi.
The major markets of international business division are North America, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Spain, Iran, Turkey and others. We cater to many OEM majors across the globe.
Tpi is a ts 16949 certified company and also a ISO 14001 certified by bvqi. For a clearer understanding of the production process.
We are capable of producing the tubing as per any standard be it ASTM, bs, din, afnor, uni, jis & any other other customer specific requirements.
The following is the broad range of tubing we produce in addition to taking up any customer secific requirement:
1. Electric resistance welded -erw:
Dia 12.70mm to 127.00mm 2. Wall thickness 0.71mm to 6.40mm
2. Cold drawn welded-cdw (drawn over mandrel-dom):
Dia 11.00mm to 114.30mm 2. Wall thickness 0.70mm to 6.00mm
We also provide value added services for the customer like cutting, chamfering, milling, flanging etc in our passion to be closer to the end user requirement.
